Wisdom Jobs Study: Rise in jobs for entry level candidates in July-Sept




A study mentioned that there will be an increase in job opportunities for entry level candidates in July-September 2015. The study revealed that, there will be a significant rise of 6% demand for registered candidates with zero to two years of experience. Sectors like IT, telecom, healthcare and hospitality are expecting to see great demand with an average rise of 3% since 2011. Experts predict to peak in this period for e-commerce giants. Major metros Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Mumbai are expected to have great demand for entry level candidates. The report also included that, information technology, telecom, manufacturing and healthcare sectors are the biggest recruiters of senior professionals during the winter season.

UAE Industries Hiring Today: Wisdom Jobs Study


Despite of fall in oil prices, companies are recruiting oil-sensitive industries, and many new jobs are created in certain companies in the UAE. Industries such as Information technology and telecommunications; banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) and health care are still looking for new staff.   According to the study, software, hardware and telecom professionals saw rise in hiring activities followed by banking and finance sector professionals in BFSI sector. Health sector is in third place in growing hiring as compared to previous year. Health care sector in UAE is looking to hire IT specialists, marketing and communications experts and accountants, rather than medical specialists. Companies in UAE which saw decline in hiring activities are consumer goods, fast-moving consumer goods, food and packaged food, home appliance, garments, textiles, leather, gems and jewellery industry.

Hewlett-Packard (HP) is looking to hire more people to embark on research and development initiatives of the company. According to the future HP strategy, the company seeks savings round $1 billion through restructuring and the potential for an additional $2 billion in cost cuts from trimming the services business.
